So southbound traffic is being diverted onto the Potomac Freeway. Northbound, you cannot access the northbound direction from the Roosevelt Bridge or Ohio Drive. So this is why we're starting to see delays coming off the Roosevelt Bridge around toward the Potomac Freeway. So just something to keep in mind. Full list of the closures are on WTOP.com. Closures expected to be lifted sometime early tomorrow morning. 16th Street at T Street Northwest had been the scene of a motorcycle wreck. At one point, it was a single right lane getting by both ways. While in Maryland, southbound Pennsylvania Avenue near Westfalia Road and Old Marlboro Pike, you were under police direction for the crash. Cloudy skies today, tracking a high chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms. Some of those thunderstorms this afternoon could contain locally heavy rain. Heading into the overnight hours, our rain chances decrease. We'll have highs today in the 80s, overnight lows in the 60s and lower 70s. The top story we're following for you today, cleanup efforts are underway this morning after protesters set fires, defaced monuments, and clashed with police at Union Station yesterday. They were responding to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's afternoon speech to Congress. WTOP's Kyle Cooper is at Columbus Circle this morning. The fountain outside Union Station here at Columbus Circle and the replica of the Liberty Bell, the Freedom Bell, It's all been spray painted. It's pretty heavy. It's red spray paint, green spray paint, black spray paint. There's slogans painted on Free Palestine, Let Gaza Live, things like that. And he says the National Park Service has begun the process of removing paint from monuments. We're told that could take several days, several treatments as they work on it. At least 15 people were arrested, two for assaulting a police officer.
