Pursuant to Committee Rule 6F, House Rule 11, Clause 2HF, the Chairman may postpone further proceedings today on any question of approving any measure or matter or adopting an amendment in which a recorded vote of yeas and nays is ordered.  And as unanimous consent, the Chairman be authorized to declare recess at any time during today's meeting.  And without objection, that is so ordered.   All roster text has been distributed electronically and paper copies are also available here in the hearing room.  Today, the committee is considering two administrative items.  First, the approval of a revised subcommittee roster due to membership changes on the minority side.  And the second thing is the approval of revised leadership of the subcommittee on aviation due to changes on the minority side, which includes representative   Carson's appointment as ranking member of the subcommittee.  So I ask unanimous consent to consider these items in block, and without objection, that is so ordered.  I call up the subcommittee rosters, including the subcommittee leadership, for consideration.  Without objection, the rosters will be considered as read.  I recognize myself for a quick statement.  Following Representative Cohen's resignation from the committee, today we are approving Representative Carson as a new ranking member of the Subcommittee on Aviation.   Congressman Carson brings years of valuable experience to the Subcommittee on Aviation.  His tenure in Congress and prior work on national security issues is going to serve him very well in this important role.  I'd like to congratulate you on your selection as a Democrat leader on the Subcommittee.  Representative Carson, I do look forward to working with you to strengthen America's aviation   infrastructure, improve air travel safety, and ensure the reliability of our national airspace, and ensure that the United States continues to lead the way in technological innovation and regulatory readiness.  Additionally, pursuant to House Resolution 721, Representative Maxwell Frost was appointed to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure.
